Welcome to the Peninsula Canoe Club website.

Welcome to 2019 everyone! The swamp awaits …..

 New members.

You are possibly a few clicks away from opening up a whole new world adventure, fitness and excitement. Rivers, sea, lakes, lagoons or vlei, the sport of paddling will take you there! From humble beginnings in the duck pond at the PCC beginners’ course, you could be completing the epic 240kms 4 day Berg River Marathon or feeling the exhilaration of 40+ knots of South Easter pushing you towards Fish Hoek beach! We have some beginners’ courses, weekly time trials  and organized paddling events throughout the season catering for whatever goal you have set yourself. Please refer to the FAQ section of this website to answer some of your immediate questions or email any of the committee members below or visit the club on Tuesday evening around 19H30 after our Tuesday evening Time Trial that runs from March to September and speak to a club member or committee member.

2019 PCC Committee

These are the folk that are responsible for ensuring that your 2019 paddling season is a successful and enjoyable one. No, they can’t get you fit or magically find you talent you don’t have (or perhaps Pete Cole our Head Coach can!), however they do run your club and your input is invaluable to ensure they are making the right decisions for the best interests of everyone.  So, if you are able to assist them in any way, have any “light bulb moments” for new ideas or just wish to pass on some constructive criticism,  THEY WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
