At the recent WCCU AGM, it was decided that ANY paddler that wished to paddle WCCU sactioned races MUST be registered by the 23rd May 2009.
The Paarl-Skooltjie on the Berg on the 23rd May will be the first race where ONLY registered paddlers may enter. Paddlers are also advised of the 10 day registration delay enabling WCCU to process registrations. In other words, to ensure you can paddle any WCCY sactioned race, please ensure you have completed and submitted your WCCU registration, 10 (TEN) days BEFORE the race you wish to compete in. To assist members, PCC has published (with regularly updates) a Registered Members 2009 list on the website with a Reg WCCU (Y/N) indicator against each registered paddler's name. If you have a 'Y' next to your name, you are registered and are READY to paddle WCCU races. If not and you wish to paddle, please contact Peter Calitz to rectify the matter. |
