To all fellow paddlers
Four Friends came together to create the “Friends Who Care Campaign”, which was aimed at raising funds with a raffle for a Rebecca Newson’s dad, who was struggling with cancer .
Some background information:
Rebecca Newson, is well known in the sporting fraternity and a great friend to many. Her dad had been struggling with cancer on and off for the past 8 years and had been in and out of hospital over the last few months, which racked up major medical costs. We started organizing a raffle to raise money as assistance towards his medical funds from January, as all his medical funds were exhausted and he was no longer on a medical aid. On the 8th February her dad passed away, leaving a huge financial burden on Beccs and her mom. We are hoping that we can help try relieve some of their financial stress by continuing with our raffle. Please show your support by purchasing a raffle ticket.
Angie Gaffney, Alex Steyn, Jade De Hutton and Robyn Woodward and The paddling Centre will also have raffle tickets on sale.
Raffle tickets are R100 and you get the chance to win awesome prizes such as:
