John Hishin 
We are very pleased to announce the appointment of John Hishin, owner of both Drumbeat Photography and the World of Sport Photography Franchise, Cape Town Sport Photography, as the official 2010 Swartland Photographer. John has been camera in hand for the past 30 years and is well known for his friendliness and his enthusiasm to pull out all the stops to create and compose superb photographs. John is a specialist adventure sports photographer with a passion for all sports and strives to capture the passion and excitement of his subjects in his pictures. Apart from John's commitment to Cape Town Sport Photography, he is regularly published in various Newspapers, Magazines and Websites including The Argus, False Bay Echo, Peoples Post, Laduma, Burger papers, MSN, SA Paddler, Bicycle SA magazines and Western Province Canoe Union, New Balance Sports, Cape Info, Peninsula Canoe, Surf Ski SA websites. His interest and understanding of adventure sports allows him to capture the excitement and action of the events he photographs in his work.
