NEKKIES – ALFIES NOVICE RACE Saturday, 14 MAY 2011 Registration : 9h00 – 10h00 : at Nekkies Resort Start : 10h30 : at Nekkies Resort Finish : at Alfies Low Level Bridge Distance : 16 km Water Level : low (Brandvlei Dam is releasing 3 cumecs) Compulsory : lifejackets Advisable : splash covers (for that small drop just after the start) : juice (you’re gonna paddle for 1.5 – 2 hours!!)
