Club Access – What You Need to Know

Access to Zandvlei Sports Club is managed by our Club Manager, Tracy Pomeroy-Ward, who works part-time at the Club. You can reach her on 071 174 3099 or 021 788 4813 if you need help.

Once your online membership registration is complete and payment has been received, your cell phone number will be added to the access system.

Getting In and Out

  • Download the MyCENTSYS remote app from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

  • Add Zandvlei Sports Club to your favourites.

  • Use the Entry and Exit buttons in the app to access the gates.

  • Please allow the gate to close fully behind each vehicle – no tailgating.

All access is logged by the security system, and the premises are monitored by CCTV.

Doors, Codes & Responsibility

  • Changing rooms and boat racks are accessed via keypad – Tracy will share the current codes.

  • If you open a gate or door, please make sure it closes behind you.

  • Leaving doors or gates open may result in you being held responsible for any issues that arise.

Membership & Security

  • Access is strictly personal and may not be shared or transferred.

  • Please don’t allow non-members to use your access. Assisting someone to bypass security may lead to suspension or termination of membership.

  • Access will be suspended if membership fees are in arrears.

Juniors & Parents

  • All members (including juniors) are responsible for their own access, except for Guppies and children under 12, who fall under parental care.

  • Non-member parents of juniors may register up to two parental access numbers per family. While on site, parental access holders are treated as visiting members and must follow all Club rules.

Other Important Notes

  • Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.

  • The Club cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property—please secure your belongings and lock boats where possible.

  • Boats (personal or Club) may not be used, borrowed, or tampered with without permission.

  • PCC Club Boats may only be used during supervised training or with Executive Committee approval.

If Something Isn’t Working

If your phone isn’t granting access, please contact Tracy as soon as possible—this may be due to a technical or membership issue.

A Final Note

The Zandvlei Sports Club and Peninsula Canoe Club Committees are run by unpaid volunteers who give their time generously around work and family commitments. Your patience and understanding are always appreciated.
